2 (who?)
I wanted to do a weekly questionnaire thing to get this group to interact with each other more. I meant to start this yesterday, but I was so wrapped up with the season premiere of Leverage that I couldn't focus to do it.

Anyway, what sort of program/tools do you use to make your art?

I, myself, am GIMP user. I plan to buy Paint Tool SAI, but I keep buying other things that aren't SAI. I don't even know how much it is.

I've just recently switched to Paint Tool SAI for my digital drawings. Before, I used Artrage 2, which is a really simple program to use if you're new to digital painting and drawing.

Adobe photoshop and Illustrator :) Ah. Also a sketchpad and pencils with different Hs and Bs and then ink and scan and color it either photoshop or illustrator . ^_^ hehe.

Lead pencil that goes into fine liners, bamboo tablet, and then Photoshop CS3.

I started out using GIMP myself and ended up cursing at it every hour or so(though it was probably a combined effort between my horrible computer and the program). A little under a year ago I switched to Photoshop CS5 and am planning on getting Paint Tool SAI for better coloring sometime in the near future.
For traditional media it's copics or colored pencils.

Mhm, my first deviation was done on a free trial of Manga Studio Debut which I really want to buy. I did a couple of charcoal drawings using...well, charcoal (Staedtler :>). Right now I just scan in pencil drawings and do the digital line art/coloring on Photoshop CS5.
What's SAI like, anyway? I always hear people using the program but I've got no freaking idea what it actually is O.O

Since I just discovered this site this year. I like using the Da muro sometimes when I'm bored. Otherwise what you usually see me post is just pencils, color pencils, paper, posters, ...well you get it. Art materials. Sometimes I like using the ms paint program that comes with the computers, but that's usually just for doodling and passing time, like Da muro.
